Transfer News EPL 2014/15. You read a lot of transfer gossips, don’t you? And most of what you read will remain just that – gossip. If these were to be true, somebody must find a device to clone Arturo Vidal, Angel di Maria, and even Thomas Vermaelen. We don’t want to add further gossips masquerading as Transfer News EPL 2014/15. Here, what you see will be what you get when the season starts.
Watch out for this space. Here is our first instalment.
1. Angel di Maria to United? No way
We too wonder why they are doing this; but Real Madrid are indeed selling di Maria. After all, he played so well for them last season. But he is not coming to Old Trafford. Manchester United will have to satisfy with Nani or some other winger like that. di Maria is going to Paris Saint Germain instead. How many bets are on Zlatan Ibrahimović to become the top-scorer again in the French Ligue One?
2. Arturo Vidal to United? Yes
The United fans need not worry though. A Chilean midfield wizard is going to join them soon. Vidal has had a lacklustre world cup. But against weaker defences in the premier league he will be like a hungry lion.
3. Who will be the United star for the next season? Memphis Depay
Memphis who? You may ask. Depay did not start for the Netherlands only because he had Robin van Persie and Arjen Robben as competitors. But he showed how lethal he can be whenever he came on as substitute. Louis van Gaal knows the calibre of the PSV Eindhoven striker. He is still a long shot in transfer news EPL 2014/15. But mark our words: he will play for United soon.
4. Remy will not be a Red, but Origi will
Remy has failed in the medicals at Anfield. And his Liverpool move has fallen off. Most Kopites will not mind it, provided the club manages to get the services of the Belgium teenager Divock Origi. He is all set to undergo a medical, where his success is really in God’s hands. If he succeeds in medicals, Origi will never walk alone.
5. Gunners to get ammunition from Costa Rica
The Arsenal fans are still cherishing the goose bumps they got when they heard the news that Lionel Messi had considered a move to Arsenal. But what they are going to get is Joel Campbell, who was Costa Rica’s spearhead in their giant-killing world-cup run. Not a bad bargain. But the big question is this: will it help them to finish higher than the customary fourth position?
